About Us

James “Jim” Clark grew up in Memphis TN and earned a BA in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee. He worked as an archaeologist for five years in the Southeastern US including one year in Scotland for the University of Edinburgh. Jim moved to Texas in 1993 and received his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston and became licensed to practice law in 2001.

Jim has over 20 years of experience practicing consumer bankruptcy law in the Houston area starting in 2002. He is admitted to the following courts:

• State of Texas
• US District Court for the Southern District of Texas
• United States Tax Court
• United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
